This is the time of year when family and friends get together. The library is no different because in a way our patrons are family. And as families do, we are inviting you to an Open House at the Bossier Parish Libraries Historical Center on Friday, December 6 from 1—3p.m.
“Banjo Bob” Jordan will be on hand playing old-time and Christmas music. Refreshments will be served in the meeting room where you can rest a bit and visit. Special exhibits will be on display including one on Bossier Quilts. Of course there will be lots of decorations to see.
Be sure to take a walk through the Main Library, too. Children’s Services has wonderful exhibits and things that kids and parents will enjoy. For instance, throughout the month of December you can play the life-size Candy Land game.
The History Center and Main Library are easy to find at 2206 Beckett Street, Bossier City. If you are new to the area and need directions call us at (318) 746-1693.
Book it to the Bossier Parish Libraries for some holiday cheer. We hope to see you there.
