BPCC Middle College will hold its graduation ceremony at 6 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, in the BPCC Performing Arts Theatre (Building C), 6220 E Texas St., Bossier City.

The BPCC Middle College program is designed to prepare students, who did not graduate from high school, to pass the HiSet exam in order to earn their high school equivalency diploma and enroll in college.

“Not only is the BPCC Middle College program a model for student success, the students (many of whom are first-generation college students) are inspired to advance to the next phase of higher education,” said BPCC Chancellor Jim Henderson.

The program helps students identify a plan for their lives beyond a high school diploma. All of the classes require students to think, learn and study on a post-secondary educational level. With multiple sessions per year, students can choose from morning, afternoon or evening classes.

“This program provided students with educational opportunities to help them excel,” said Justin Tison, assistant director of BPCC’s College Transition Programs.  “We look forward to continuing to assist them with their future individual educational paths.”

The BPCC Middle College program is housed at the BPCC College Transition Programs building located at 415 Monroe St., Bossier City.
