The beloved Southern classic is set in a small Alabama town in the 1930s, the story focuses on scrupulously honest, highly respected lawyer Atticus Finch. Finch puts his career on the line when he agrees to represent Tom Robinson, a black man accused of rape. The trial and the events surrounding it are seen through the eyes of Finch’s six-year-old daughter Scout.
The production stars John Bogan as Atticus Finch, Kate Davis as Scout, and Jack Walker as Jem. Other performers include Mike Martindale, Cordara Newson, Reagan Cassanova, Jim Christie , Terry McCoy, Caroline Adkins, Hugh Herzog, Jeremy Pryor and Tiana Andrews-Williams.
Performances will be Nov. 13 and 14 at 7:00 pm and Nov. 14 and 15 at 2:00. This is a limited engagement of four performances so reservations are essential. The production is being directed by Cynthia Hawkins Whitaker.
