Throughout the week of April 13, 2015, all 29 of Hunt’s military locations comprising nearly 350 employees located throughout the United States, will volunteer their time and energy to help support local organizations throughout their community.

Woody’s Home for Veterans will be one of several worthy organizations receiving a helping hand on Thursday, April 16, when Barksdale Family Housing staff, Snyder Floor Coverings, Window World and Sherwin Williams volunteer their time to this organization.

Outside organizations and team members from Barksdale Family Housing will be:
• Repainting front porches
• Repairing a wooden gate
• Cleaning bedrooms
• Adding a carpet runner
• Replacing window dressings
• Installing provided thermostats
• Replacing a window
• Plaining door and adding weather stripping
• Repairing photo cell flag light

Hunt’s Helping Hands Day is focused on allowing employees to use their time, energy and skills to engage in an experience that gives back to their neighbors and helps to create a strong team spirit.

Residents can also assist by donating new men’s toiletries, paper goods and non-perishable items to either leasing office or maintenance shop by April 15.
