The Haughton Buccaneers and Benton Tigers are teaming up with Susan G. Komen for Breast Cancer Awareness month by hosting PINK OUT football games.
The events raise awareness of breast cancer and helps raise funds for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Northwest Louisiana. The Buccaneers will be playing off at the Harold E. Harlam Stadium against Southwood Cowboys. The Tigers will be playing at their home stadium against Fair Park High School. Both teams will be kicking off at 7 p.m.
As part of the partnership with Susan G. Komen NWLA, the Buc and Tigers cheerleaders will be wearing pink shirts, ribbons, wristbands, etc. Fans are also asked to participate in the pink fever by wearing anything and everything pink. There will be opportunities for fans to support the cause throughout the game. Susan G. Komen merchandise and pink football fans will be available for purchase at the front gate of each stadium.
