Bossier All-Star teams remain undefeated in the Dixie Boys (14s) and Jr. Boys (13s) World Series tournaments in Pineville.

The Bossier 14s rolled past Arkansas state champ Sevier County 13-3 in a second-round winners’ bracket game Sunday. Bossier faces the winner of this afternoon’s game between Spring Hill, Fla., and Columbia County, Ga., in the winners’ bracket finals Monday night at 7:30.

The Bossier 13s edged South Carolina state champ Midland County 14-13 in a game that started Sunday and ended Monday because of rain. Bossier plays Mississippi state champion Hattiesburg at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the winners’ bracket semifinals. If Bossier wins, it faces Pineville at 7 p.m.

Christopher Lutterman, Jaxon Clark and Peyton Lewis hit home runs for the Bossier 14s against Sevier County. Clark and Lewis went back-to-back. Gavin Roe had a double. Hayden Lope and Kade Garmany had singles.

“We’re playing good defense and starting to hit the ball,” Bossier coach Jerry Lutterman said.

Will Tynes and Bryson Connell combined on a no-hitter in Bossier’s 4-1 first-round victory against host Pineville. Lewis had an infield single.

The 13s won a wild one over Midland County. Bossier fell behind 6-1 after the first two innings then scored eight in the top of the third to go up 9-6. Bossier added two in the fourth to take an 11-6 lead, but Midland County pushed across six in the bottom of the inning to take a 12-11 lead.

Bossier rallied again, scoring three in the fifth for a 14-12 lead. Midland County cut it to one in the bottom of the sixth.

Midland County loaded the bases on three walks with no outs in the seventh. Hayden Knotts came in to pitch. Bossier got a force out at home and picked off a runner at third base. Knotts got a flyout to end the game.

Bossier’s Clint Lasiter had his second three-hit game, going 3-for-5. Grayson Gates went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI. Grasyn Hull went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Knotts had two hits, including a double, and two RBI.

Peyton Stovall had a double. Lucas McKain had a hit and three RBI. Cameron Ross and Liam Rogers had hits. Micky Parks and Rogers had one RBI each.
