Bossier Deputies attend annual D.A.R.E. conference

Fourteen Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office D.A.R.E. Officers/School Resource Officers are attending the 23rd annual Louisiana D.A.R.E. Officers Association training conference in Pineville, La., this week.

The training is held every year in July prior to school starting to provide classroom management skills, juvenile law and drug updates, active shooter, social networking, sexting and Internet trends involving juveniles.
