Emma is the daughter of Glenn Maynor and Rachael Deere.
My favorite subject in school is science.
My favorite food is bacon.
My favorite color is baby blue.
My favorite singer/band/musician is Carrie Underwood.
My favorite T.V. show is Vampire Diaries.
My favorite movie is Titanic.
My favorite thing about school is the fun events.
One academic goal I have is to graduate from college with a 4.0 GPA (grade point average).
When I grow up, I want to be an orthopedic surgeon.
My extracurricular activities include Pride of Princeton, competitive All Star cheer, talented theatre, talented music (singing), church activities and sewing opportunities.
My hobbies are reading novels, cheering and writing.
What it means to me to be Student of the Year: It is an honor to be the Bossier Parish Elementary Student of the Year. I was chosen to set a good example for my peers, to be a good representative of my school and parish. I will continue to exhibit leadership skills, keep my commitment to academics, maintain honesty and motivate myself and others to achieve goals in and out of school.

Bhavani is the daughter of Dr. Sanjeevi and Shanthy Tivakaran.
My favorite subject in school is history.
My favorite food is lasagna.
My favorite color is purple.
My favorite singer/band/musician is any kind of pop music.
My favorite T.V. show is The Flash and Aarow.
My favorite movie is Life of Pi.
My favorite thing about school is getting to work with a lot of different people.
One academic goal I have is to be valedictorian of my high school.
When I grow up, I want to work in business or medicine.
Bhavani is on the Student Council and in 4-H and the Suzuki Chamber Orchestra. She is also on the MathCounts Team for the district and in the Talented Arts Program, is the school spelling bee winner and volunteers with the India Association of Shreveport/Bossier.
My hobbies are playing the violin, reading and volunteering.
What it means to me to be Student of the Year: To me, being Student of the Year means representing your class and being the voice who speaks for them.

Julia is the daughter of Clifton and Jessica LeFort.
My favorite subject in school is English.
My favorite food is cereal.
My favorite color is yellow.
My favorite singer/band/musician is Weezer.
My favorite T.V. show is Gilmore Girls.
My favorite movie is Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
My favorite thing about school is my teachers.
One academic goal I have is to get a master’s degree.
When I grow up, I want to be an editor.
My extracurricular activities include Gold Jacket Student Ambassadors, Student Council, S.A.D.D., S.M.A.R.T. Program, tennis team, National Honor Society, FCA. My hobbies are reading, writing, and playing tennis.
What it means to me to be Student of the Year: To me, being Benton High School’s Student of the Year means that all of my hard work and dedication to my school has paid off. I will truly miss Benton High and all of the amazing things it has to offer. I am grateful that they value academic achievements as much as I do.
