Agents with the Bossier Sheriff-Police Narcotics Task Force checked 14 businesses throughout the Bossier City and Haughton area on July 9, and not one of them sold to underage buyers.
“While we are quick to note those clerks at businesses who are cited for selling alcohol to underage buyers, I’d like to mention that the clerks we checked this time all complied with the law,” said Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington. “They did the right thing.
“Our agents will continue to check businesses around the parish to ensure they are in compliance with the law and not sell alcohol to those under the age of 21.”
The Bossier Sheriff-Police Narcotics Task Force comprises deputies with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Bossier City Police Department.
