Lindsay Kathryn Avocato and Morgan Dock Buck, both of Houston, Texas, are pleased to announce their engagement to be married.

The ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m. June 13, 2015 at  St. Mary’s Cathedral in Austin, Texas. Father Mark Hamlet will preside over the ceremony.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Noel and Charlene Avocato, of Houston, Texas, and the granddaughter of Shirley Avocato of New Orleans, and Herbert Marks, Sr. of New Orleans.

The bridegroom is the son of Steve and Susie Masters of Hot Springs, Ark., and Larry and JoAnn Buck of Throckmorton, Texas. He is the grandson of Georgia Traylor of Hot Springs and E.W. Buck of Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Westlake High School in Austin, Texas and a 2006 graduate of Vanderbilt University in Bachelor of Science, Engineering Science. She is a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Airline High School in Bossier City, a 2010 graduate of Louisiana State Univeristy-Shreveport in Bachelor of Science, Business  Administration, and a 2011 graduate of Kilgore College in Corrosion Technology.

Following the wedding, the couple will make their home in Houston, Texas.
