Aiello sworn in as new Asst. DA

DA_Marvin_and_ADA_AielloAlexandra S. Aiello has been appointed by District Attorney J. Schuyler Marvin as an Assistant District Attorney for the Twenty-Sixth Judicial District Court.

Aiello will handle both appeals and felony matters prosecuted in Bossier Parish.

Aiello grew up in Bossier Parish, is a graduate of Loyola College Prep, and the University of Mississippi where she received a Bachelors in Accountancy. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.

Prior to her appointment as an Assistant District Attorney, Aiello worked as the District Attorney's Law Clerk. Aiello also clerked in the law firm of Wiener, Weiss, and Madison and interned for First Judicial District Court Judge Roy Brun. She is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Section of the Shreveport Bar Association.

District Attorney Marvin said, "It is a privilege to have Ms. Aiello on my staff. She is smart, well organized, has good work ethics, and is skillfully prepared to represent victims of violent crimes and handle cases on appeal."

Shortly after her swearing in ceremony at the Bossier Parish Courthouse, Aiello said, "I am honored by the confidence DA Marvin has shown in me; and I am excited about the opportunity to serve the citizens of Bossier and Webster Parishes."
