Inez Feazell Thompson (1926 - 2013)

BOSSIER CITY - Graveside services for Inez Feazell Thompson, 87, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Hurricane Cemetery in Hurricane, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Eddie Wayne Rhymes. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.

Inez was born January 9, 1926 in Athens, LA to Lawrence and Beatrice Feazell. She passed away on January 11, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. Inez and four other young ladies, after graduating from Athens High School, went to Willow Run, MI and made the B-24 Liberator Bombers during WWII.

Inez was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 30 years, Joe Curtis Thompson; sisters, Rita Feazell of Homer, LA, Oneal Anderson of Minden, LA, and Ruby Gathright of Sterlington, LA; and brothers, James Feazell of Athens, LA and Arvil Feazell of Dallas, TX. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Curtis W. Thompson of Bossier City; daughters, Jo Ann Caskey and husband, Ira, and Betty S. Thompson, all of Shreveport; grandchildren, Sarah Baranco and husband, Nathan of Shreveport and Rachel Caskey and Daniel Barks of Blanchard, LA; great-grandchildren, Renee Lunsford and Kayden Barks; and siblings, Charles Feazell of Kathy, TX, Aubin Feazell and wife, Connie of Bossier City; and Peggy Ramsey of Shreveport and much loved nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the local Meals on Wheels, St. Jude, or to Sutton Children's Hospital.

Family would like to give a special thanks to her sister Peggy Ramsey and the nurses and CNA staff at The Haven.
