An anonymous tip has lead to the arrest of a Bossier City man on a child pornography possession charge.
Detectives with the Juvenile Unit arrested William Dudley Nicholson, 65, Friday following an investigation that began based on a tip called in to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The information was first forwarded to the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office which in turned contacted the Bossier City Police Department.
Detectives made contact with Nicholson at his residence in the 2100 block of Starling Drive Friday and subsequently arrested him for possession of pornography involving juveniles. Detectives also seized computers and DVD’s from Nicholson’s home. The Bossier City Marshal’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
Nicholson was booked into the Bossier City Jail and later transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility.
