Bossier City’s Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting applications for lifeguards to staff the city’s three public swimming pools this summer.
Applicants can sign up at the BPAR office in the Public Service Complex, 3223 Old Shed Road and are encouraged to do so at their earliest convenience in order to ensure all pools will be fully staff by opening day of May 31, 2013. All applicants must take and pass a lifeguard certification course at their own expense. BPAR will be offering such a course at a cost of $350.
