PLAIN DEALING – A memorial service celebrating the life of Lisa Wallace Woodall, 50, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Billy Russell. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Lisa entered Heaven’s gate on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at her home in Plain Dealing, LA following a pulmonary disease. Lisa was born April 21, 1964 in Shreveport, LA to the late J.C. Wallace and Patricia Wallace. Lisa was the oldest of 5 siblings. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Lisa was a hard worker and took much pride in her career in the retail business. She also loved to cook, the outdoors, gardening and had a great love for her many pets.
Mrs. Woodall is preceded in death by her father, J.C. Wallace, grandparents: Lester and Anna Latham and George and Vivian Wallace.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Lisa is her husband and love of her life, Daniel “Dannie” Woodall; mother, Patricia Wallace; daughter, Amber Al-ayyoob and husband Joseph of McLeod, TX; granddaughter, Alyssa Cox of McLeod, TX; siblings, JoAnn Hammer and husband Jeffery of Shreveport, LA, Kelly Wallace and wife Lisa of Nashville, TN, Tony Wallace and wife Donna of Bossier City, LA and Dawn Moreno and husband Juan of Shreveport, LA; nieces and nephews, Mariah, Makayla, Gage, Shawnee, Christian, Isabella and Thomas; great-nephew, Kayn as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to Whispering Pines Nursing Home, 309 Louisiana 3, Plain Dealing, LA 71064 to assist in the funding of senior citizens medical and dental plans.
