Greenacres, Benton and Elm Grove won team titles in the Greenacres/Cope middle school track and field meet last week at Airline.

Greenacres won the eighth-grade boys division with 99 points, just six more than runner-up Elm Grove. Benton took the seventh-grade title with 133 points, just four more than Elm Grove.

Elm Grove easily won the girls title with 166 points. Cope was second with 84.

Elm Grove’s Sh’Diamond McKnight was a triple winner in the girls division. She won the 200-meter dash in 26.24 seconds, the high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 10.5 inches and the long jump with a 14-6.

McKnight also finished second to Greenacres’ Shandria Harvey in the 100. Harvey ran a 12.60, beating McKnight by .14 seconds.

Elm Grove won the 4X200 relay (1:56.64) and the 4X400 (4:50.50). Greenacres took the 4X100 in 53.93.

Elm Grove’s Peyton Pipes won the 100 hurdles in 16.97 and finished second in the long jump.

Other winners in the girls division were Haughton’s Jianna Stewartburgess (400, 1:04.32), Benton’s Jessica Willis (800, 2:54.25), Elm Grove’s Justina Vo (1,600, 6:31), Benton’s Zoe Roberts (shot put, 25-10.5) and Elm Grove’s Madison Ersoff (discus, 73-1).

Benton’s Evan Cole was a double winner in the seventh-grade boys division. He won the 200 in 25.29 and the 400 in 1:01.46.

Elm Grove’s James Jordaon won the 100 hurdles in 15.63 and finished second in the 100, 400 and high jump.

Benton’s Luke Ward won the long jump with a 15-8 and was second in the hurdles.

Rusheon’s Jaylyn Williams won the 100 in 12.20.

Benton won the 4X100 relay in 51.80 and the 4X200 in 1:50.90. Elm Grove took the 4X400 in 4:21.29 with Benton finishing runner-up.

Other winners in the seventh-grade boys division were Benton’s Zachary Zeigler (800, 2:31.40), Cope’s Clayton Frye (1,600, 5:42.70), Elm Grove’s Arnett Hines (high jump, 5-2), Haughton’s Elton Bryant (shot put, 39-7) and Elm Grove’s Chris Menidola (discus, 101-6).

Cope’s Jordan Harvey swept the sprints in the eighth-grade boys division. He won the 100 in 11.75 and the 200 in 24.28.

Greenacres’ Steve Damian was also a double winner, taking the 800 in 2:20.40 and the 1,600 in 5:22.94.

Rusheon’s Jamal Asberry won the long jump with a 17-7 and finished second in the 100.

Greenacres won the 4X200 relay in 1:42.81 and the 4X400 in 3:59.60. Rusheon won the 4X100 in 48.12 with Greenacres taking second.

Other winners in the eighth-grade boys division were Cope’s Devin Bilbo (100 hurdles, 14.65), Elm Grove’s Quincy Jones (high jump, 5-6), Haughton’s De’Mareya Howard (shot put, 42-1.5) and Benton’s Conrad Johnson (discus, 118-0).
