Christopher Allen Myers
Benton, LA – Christopher Allen Myers, of Benton, Louisiana, passed away suddenly on March 5, 2016 at the age of 28.
Chris was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on March 27, 1987. He attended Benton High School. Following high school he pursued a career as a professional welder.
Chris loved back roads, bonfires, mud riding, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Chris is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Martha Lee Anderson; paternal grandfather Larry W. Myers; cousin Nikkie Henry.
Chris is survived by his two sons Gracen Lane Myers and Lane Allen Cochran; his parents Jeffrey Allen Myers and Carolyn McGee Smith; his maternal grandfather Joseph B. McGee; paternal grandmother Connie F. Myers; sisters Tiffany Myers and Ashley Myers Reyenga, husband Josh; his brother Tyler Myers, wife Brittany; 2 nieces; 3 nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; family friend Curtis Goodnight; and many other friends.
Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm on March 9, 2016 at Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport, Louisiana. Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on March 10, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Benton with Pastor Bill Lott officiating. Graveside will immediately follow at Pilgrim Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Ivan, Louisiana. Pall Bearers are: Landon Burns, Cory Hale, Colt McEntyre, Cody Maroon, Tyler Myers, Michael Pilgreen, Jonathan Young, and TJ Young. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Aulds Funeral Home.
