BOSSIER CITY – Jerry H. Fenton, 80, born December 23, 1934, passed away peacefully at home February 21, 2015 surrounded by family after a lengthy illness. He grew up in Bossier City, Louisiana and graduated from Bossier High. He was a bull rider in the rodeo throughout high school. Jerry loved working with animals and earned a degree in Animal Husbandry. After serving in the Army he married Jenette McMurry in 1961. His father’s dream was for Jerry to follow in his footsteps and become a Pharmacist, so in 1964 he graduated with a Pharmcy degree and went into business with his dad at Barksdale Drug in Bossier Crossroads and retired in 1996. Jerry lived for hunting, fishing, and family.

Mr. Fenton is survived by his wife, Jenette McMurry Fenton. His daughters Jennifer Sikes and husband Bill, twins Jeanie Fenton and Janie Riley and husband Tim. Grandsons: T.J. Riley, Jeffery Riley, Jamie Riley, Joseph Sikes and Christopher Sikes. Great Grandsons: Myles and Sabastein Riley.
Pallbearers: T.J. Riley, Jeffery Riley, Jamie Riley, Josh Riley, Kody Riley and Glenn Long.
