PLAIN DEALING – A memorial service celebrating the life of Linda Arnold Rowe of Plain Dealing will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the Plain Dealing Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Bruce Ligon. It was Linda’s wish that her body be donated to medical science.
She was born in Alexandria, LA, on October 24, 1942, and passed away peacefully on July 15, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Vera Arnold, and her son, Morris Eugene Rowe. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Phillip Rowe and wife, Regina; Mark Rowe and fiancée, Vicki Malone; two granddaughters, Brandi (Sean) Jousma and Katelyn Rowe; one grandson, Hunter Rowe; two great-grandsons, Aiden and Bryson Jousma. She is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nora and Fred McKellar and Cathy and Robert Carlson. She is survived by one niece, Susan McKellar; and three nephews, Greg McKellar (Michelle), Doug McKellar (Shannon), and Kyle Wilson (Diana); four great nieces and one great nephew.
Linda was a very caring and giving person who touched the hearts of everyone she met. She was kind-hearted, strong, and a friend to all. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
