BOSSIER CITY – Services to celebrate the life of George Keith Winham, 82, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Cypress Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Pierce officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Hill Crest Funeral Home.

George graduated from Plain Dealing High School. He joined the Air Force in 1956. He was stationed at Good Fellow Air Force Base where he met Pat his lifelong love. They were married November 7, 1959. They moved to Alexandria, LA in 1964. There he was ordained as a deacon of Southside Baptist Church. While living in Alexandria he went to LSUA and earned an AD in Nursing. In January of 1976 he was employed as a RN on Drug and Detox Unit he retired from the VA December 1995. He was in the USAF reserve for many years and retired as Senior Master Sargent. He was a member of Cypress Baptist Church where one he served as a deacon and ordained as a lay minister. He was a 50 year member of Oliver Lodge 84 in Alexandria. A member of Cypress Lodge 89 of Benton, LA and Valley of Shreveport Scottish.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Henderson and Lula Winham; brother, Charles H. Winham, Sr.; and nephew, James Rufus Winham, Jr.

George is survived by his loving wife, Pat Winham; son, Adrian Keeth Winham and wife Toni; son, George Kevin Winham and wife Earlene; daughter, Karla Ann Haas and husband Jeremy; grandchildren, Andrew Winham, Daniel Salazar, Kody Robinson and Zachary Jarrell; step-mother, Freda Winham; brother, James Rufus Winham, Sr. and brother, Stephen Winham and wife Bettye.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Winham, Daniel Salazar, Kody Robinson, Zachary Jarrell, Jeremy Haas and Wayne Seals.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sammie Craft Sunday School Class.
