State of Emergency declared in Bossier, Webster Parish

A state of emergency has been declared in Bossier and Webster parishes due to the inclement weather conditions that have caused flooding throughout both parishes

Wanda Bennett, president of the Bossier Parish Police Jury, said the Bossier Parish courthouse in Benton will be closed today (Wednesday, March 9) including the 26th Judicial District Court, Bossier Clerk of Court, Section 8 housing and the Bossier Parish library system.

In Webster, the parish courthouse in Minden is also closed.
