Detectives with the Bossier City Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit have made three more arrests in connection with a vandalism spree that resulted in dozens of tires being slashed on multiple vehicles in south Bossier City.
Today, detectives arrested a 15-year-old female, and Wednesday arrested Michael Heard, 17, and a 15-year-old boy — all from Bossier City — in connection with the incidents.
Heard was booked into the Bossier City Jail while the 15-year-old and 16-year-old were booked into the Bossier Juvenile Detention Center. Their arrests are in addition to the arrest of a 16-year-old male suspect Tuesday. All four suspects are charged with 11 counts of felony simple criminal property damage and 20 counts of misdemeanor simple criminal property damage.
They are accused of taking part together in a vandalism spree that happened during the overnight hours this past Saturday night-Sunday morning in residential areas of south Bossier City including the Bellaire, Savannah Place, Shady Grove and Golden Meadows subdivisions. In all 31 vehicles and three trailers were involved with a total of 48 tires slashed. Five of the vehicles also had windows broken out. The total damage amounted to more than $13,000.
In accordance with state law, the names of the two 16- and 15-year-old suspects cannot be release since they are juveniles.
Detectives say they do not anticipate any further arrests in this case.
