Bossier Sheriff’s Office detectives continue their investigation into Mr. Michael Lofton, who was arrested on Jan. 7 on several counts of pornography involving animals and juveniles.
After detectives conducted a digital forensic investigation into Mr. Lofton’s electronic device, they discovered multiple images containing either child sexual abuse images or sexual abuse on an animal. Mr. Lofton now has additional charges of 39 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles with a bond set at $350,000, and 104 counts of Sexual Abuse of an Animal, with a bond set at $125,000.
This matter is still under investigation. Detectives with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office continue to aggressively investigate child sexual abuse cases with the ICAC team, the Attorney General’s Office, and the aid of the latest technology.
