SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER, LA – 2015 Revel Primary Sponsors the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier, CHASE, City of Shreveport, Pepsi Beverages Company, Ford Motor Company and The Alta & John Franks Foundation invite you to celebrate the 40th annual Red River Revel Arts Festival, Oct. 3-10, 2015.

The Red River Revel Arts Festival attracts more than 120,000 visitors annually to Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport, making it the largest outdoor arts festival in northern Louisiana.

The 2015 event will kick off with the annual Red River Revel Run 5K/15K at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3. Enjoy national headliners, Louisiana favorites, and local and regional performers on four stages along with 108 artist booths, 23 food booths and more. Admission is $5 on weekends, free Monday, and $5 after 5:30 p.m. on weekdays.

Revel 40 headliners include rising stars, popular favorites, and breakout artists. Headliners include: Louisiana’s LeRoux, Cowboy Mouth, Black Water Bride (10/3); BE THE CHANGE TOUR ft. OBB, Shinebright, All Things New (10/4); FLY Dance Company, Big Bang Boom!® (10/5, 6, & 10), Big Daddy Weave Fall 2015 Tour ft. Jason Gray and Citizen Way (10/7); Moon Taxi, Louisiana Swamp Donky [sic] (10/8); Logan Mize, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Windstorm Band (10/9); Robert Earl Keen, Cody Cooke & the Bayou Outlaws, Dirtfoot (10/10). A complete lineup is available here.

John and Karen Keane, Big Bang Boom!®, Jill’s Gymnastics, and students from the Bossier Talented Arts Program will entertain at the AEP Swepco Family Stage. Boocoos the Clown and Spinner Entertainment’s performers will strut around Festival Plaza entertaining crowds with versatile and diverse street performances throughout Revel 40.

A great place for lunch during your work week is Revel 40! Select from 23 food booths and hang out at the CHASE Entertainment Stage to the tunes of Project of Love (Chngnf8.org) (10/5), Mason Dixon Show Band (10/6), Buddy Flett (10/7), Danny Wilder and the Bayou Gypsys (10/8), and the BTAP Jazz Band and Trout Fishing in America (10/9). The downtown lunchtime trolley will pick you up and return you to work (Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.). Support local non-profit organizations and more when you eat Revel food!
