41st Annual Red River Revel Headliners Announced

The Polyphonic Spree, God Is On the Move Tour, Judah & the Lion, The Revivalists, The Mother Truckers, Lance Lopez Band, The Kentucky Headhunters, and A Thousand Horses to headline festival in downtown Shreveport, Oct. 1-8

SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER, LA – The Primary Sponsors of the 2016 Red River Revel Arts Festival – the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier, CHASE, City of Shreveport, Pepsi Beverages Company and The Alta & John Franks Foundation – invite you to celebrate the 41st annual Red River Revel, October 1-8. Attracting more than 120,000 visitors to Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport, the largest outdoor arts festival in North Louisiana kicks off with the annual Revel Run at 8 a.m. Saturday, October 1 (to register, visit www.SportSpectrumUSA.com).

Enjoy national headliners, local and regional bands, and artistic performers on four stages along with 108 visual artist booths, 23 food booths, and entire areas dedicated to fun at Revel 41! Admission is $5 on weekends and after 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, free on Monday, and free any day with a valid military ID. Headliners for the 41st annual Red River Revel include: The Polyphonic Spree in conjunction with Louisiana Music Prize (10/1); God is on the Move Tour ft. 7eventh Time Down and Audio Adrenaline (10/2); Judah & the Lion (10/5), The Revivalists / Lance Lopez (10/6); The Mother Truckers / The Kentucky Headhunters (10/7); and A Thousand Horses (10/8). Revel favorites Trout Fishing in America and Dana Louise and the Glorious Birds will return to delight their loyal fans (10/7 & 10/8). Newcomers Be the Groove and Sally & George will entertain festival attendees and provide arts education components throughout the festival.
