The Benton Lady Tigers swept the Haughton Lady Bucs in middle school girls district games Thursday.
The eighth-grade game was close with the Lady Tigers winning 25-20.
Alexis Westendorf and Elizabeth Perry led Benton with eight and six points, respectively. Alli Merrel and Emerson Ford scored four each. Audrey Hollowell and Evie McQuade also scored.
Aliyah Delaney led Haughton with eight points. Camilla Munoz Alamo added four.
Kylie Lanier and Sydney Beleau led the Benton seventh-grade team with 11 and nine points, respectively.
London Bostic, Ella Stephens and Henzley Williams also scored.
