NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State Athletics announced the launch of the Fork ‘EM Collective, the official Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) collective for Demons’ student-athletes.
While not officially affiliated with NSU Athletics, the Fork ‘EM Collective is acknowledged by the university’s athletic department, and will operate within NCAA, Southland Conference and State of Louisiana parameters to enhance opportunities for NSU Student-Athletes.
“NSU Athletics is excited to announce the launch of the Fork ‘EM Collective,” said Director of Athletics Kevin Bostian. “When NSU donors and fans invest in the Fork ‘EM Collective, they will be enhancing the holistic experience for our student-athletes while allowing them the opportunity to build their brands and further engage with partners and community members.”
The Fork ‘EM Collective will serve as the primary NIL Collective for all 375-plus NSU student-athletes to leverage their NIL opportunities. The collective allows businesses, donors and fans to support and engage with their favorite NSU teams and student-athletes, who may engage in a variety of opportunities, including personal appearances, meet-and-greets, charitable work, speaking engagements or commercial sponsorships through the collective.
