The Haughton Lady Bucs improved to 14-0 with an 81-48 rout of Westin Tuesday night at Weston.
Haughton is the only team without a loss in the parish. Airline suffered its first loss, failing to Ruston 50-49 at Ruston. The Lady Vikings dropped to 7-1.
Elsewhere, Benton edged Northwood 69-68 at Northwood, Parkway fell to Huntington 55-52 at Parkway and Bossier lost to Red River 43-36 at Bossier.
At Weston, Bella Hammond and Shaniya Perkins led Haughton with 21 and 20 points, respectively. Hammond, who scored 11 in the first quarter, sank three 3-pointers.
Skylar Branch had 16 and and Ka’myra Turner 15. Branch scored 14 in the first half as the Lady Bucs rolled to a 43-21 lead.
Carly Jo Griffin led Weston (11-6) with 19 points.
At Northwood, Benton improved to 10-4. Northwood dropped to 5-7.
At Parkway, the Lady Panthers led 45-36 early in the fourth quarter. But Huntington went on an 11-2 run to tie it a 47.
The Lady Raiders went up 51-48. Parkway cut it to one, but Huntington hit four free throws down the stretch. The Lady Panthers had good looks at two 3-point attempts in the last 10 seconds but both bounced off the rim.
Dakota Howard led Parkway (12-2) with 17 points. Savannah Wilson added 13. Zara Baker scored eight.
Kyndal Graham led Huntington (7-3) with 23 points. She hit three 3-pointers in the first half and was 8-of-8 from the free throw line in the second. Carley Hamilton added 16.
At Bossier, Adirianna Gooden and Zamarion Carter led Bossier (3-6) with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Orianna Edwards chipped in nine.
Aniya Jones led Red River (6-4) with 15.
