Airline senior quarterback Ben Taylor has been named the Offensive MVP on the Louisiana Football Coaches’ Association Class 5A All-State team.
Taylor, a Northwestern State signee, completed completed 325-of-447 passes for 4,356 yards and 47 touchdowns with six interceptions this season.
He led the Vikings to a 10-0 regular season and the District 1-5A championship.
Also making the first team were Airline senior receiver Jarvis Davis Jr., Airline junior receiver Kenny Darby and Benton senior offensive lineman Witt Van Hoy.
Darby, an LSU commit, caught 100 passes for 1,764 yards and 24 touchdowns,
Davis had 89 catches for 1,190 yards and nine touchdowns.
Van Hoy is a TCU signer.
Parkway senior Carmaro Mayo, a Stephen F. Austin signee, made the team at return specialist.
Making honorable mention were Parkway junior linebacker Mark Copenhaver and senior offensive lineman Jax Gallier.
