A Haughton teenage mortally injured in a motor vehicle collision in south-central Shreveport Tuesday, January 7, 2025, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office.
Elana Franks, 17, was pronounced deceased at 2:08 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025. She was injured in a multi-vehicle crash that occurred around 11:10 a.m. Tuesday in the 7500 block of Fern Avenue.
The incident remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department.
An autopsy was ordered.
