A Bossier City man who died after several vehicles struck him as he attempted to cross Interstate 20 earlier this month has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office.
Promise Lee Loyd, 29, of Scott Street, was struck while crossing the Interstate’s westbound lanes around mile marker 14 early February 23, 2025. He was pronounced deceased at the scene at 4:01 a.m.
Mr. Loyd was positively identified through fingerprint comparison.
The incident remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department.
An autopsy was ordered.
