W.T. Lewis Elementary School students graduate from DARE program.

W.T. Lewis Elementary Assistant Principal Meredith Founds welcomed the family and friends who attended the ceremony. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Olivia Todd and the introduction to the ceremony was conducted by W.T. Lewis Elementary SRO Sarah Laurent.

Bossier Parish School Board Supervisor of K-12 Administration and Evaluations Dr. Kyle Machen spoke to the students about the importance of making good choices and was followed up by Capt. Adam Johnson who spoke about the importance of following the lessons learned from the DARE program.

The DARE essay winners were Olivia Todd, Shalvonna Douglas-Thomas, Raegan Authement, and Mason Moore.

The Daren the Lion Award winner was Madison Sonnek.

Sheriff Whittington would like to thank all of the W.T. Lewis Elementary students for their hard work.
