The Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP), in partnership with the Launch
Network and with support from the LWCC Foundation, continues its impactful “How to Fund Your Business” workshop tour
across North Louisiana. The series will conclude with its final event in Bossier City on Friday, August 29, 2025.
The free workshops, designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners, have brought hands-on education and startup
support directly into nine North Louisiana communities. Each event offers step-by-step guidance on identifying funding
opportunities, building financial models, crafting compelling pitch decks, and connecting with investors or lenders. To date,
over 220 individuals have registered for the tour, and more than 70 entrepreneurs have attended in person, representing a
wide range of industries and business stages—from idea-stage founders to growth-ready ventures.
Tour Highlights So Far:
- Widespread Participation: Over 220 registered participants, reflecting broad regional interest in startup funding and
business education. - Expansive Reach: The EAP team has traveled more than 1,500 miles across North Louisiana.
- Live Pitch Experience: Over 70 entrepreneurs have delivered live elevator pitches, gaining visibility and valuable
feedback. - Community Collaboration: Local partners—including chambers of commerce, banks, libraries, universities, and
economic development groups—have been instrumental in hosting and promoting events. - Diverse Ventures: Participating businesses represent a wide range of industries, from restaurants and med-tech
startups to energy firms, creative agencies, and consulting services. - Actionable Takeaways: Attendees have gained real-world skills in financial modeling, cost analysis, pitch delivery,
and identifying the right funding sources. - Regional Impact: The tour has become a platform for local conversations around workforce development, economic
gaps, and how entrepreneurship can offer solutions. - Ongoing Momentum: Many participants have already scheduled follow-up meetings with accelerators, lenders, and
