State Fair of Louisiana 2025

It’s Fair Time! Final touches are being made on the 119th State Fair of
Louisiana that will be opening this Thursday. The fair will take place at the Louisiana State
Fairgrounds in Shreveport, Louisiana. and will run through November 16th. The hours of
operation will be 11am to 9pm on Wednesdays, Thursday, and Friday, and 11am to 10pm on
Saturday and Sunday. The Fair will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

• State Fair Discounts for Opening Week:

1. Thursday and Friday, October 30th and October 31st, Free gate admission before
   3pm.
2. Thursday October 30th, Opening Day, gate admission is only $5.00 after 3pm.
3. Wednesday, October 29th, is the last day to purchase advanced discount gate
   admission tickets and ride armbands.
4. Friday, October 31st is the last day to purchase advanced discount rodeo tickets.
   Advanced discount rodeo tickets are available at Greenwood Feed, Seed, and
   Hardware, Paul’s Farm and Garden Supply or at statefairoflouisiana.com.

• Concerts scheduled on the main stage this week are:

• LRCA Finals Rodeo (Saturday and Sunday), The Louisiana Rodeo Cowboys Association
  (LRCA) Finals Presented by Hebert’s Town & Country and Shreveport- Bossier Sports
  Commission are returning to the State Fair of Louisiana and will take place in Hirsch
  Colisum. Nightly awards will also be presented following the rodeo on the stage in front
  of Hirsch Colisum.
  The State Fair will have two rodeos on Saturday and one on Sunday. Saturday times
  are 1pm and 7pm and the Sunday rodeo will take place at 3pm. Advanced discount
  rodeo tickets are now available at Greenwood Feed and Hardware, Paul’s Farm and
  Garden, or online at statefairoflouisiana.com through October 31st
  .
• Glitz and Grit, An exclusive VIP experience at the rodeo will take place November 1st
  form 4:30pm – 6:30pm in the Lasso lounge prior to the 7pm rodeo. This all-inclusive
  event features: box seating at the 7pm rodeo, catered dinner by Shavers Catering, live
  music, and two complementary adult beverages. Tickets $101.50
• Safety and Security: We are asking everyone to familiarize themselves with all the State
  Fair of Louisiana safety, security, and entrance policies. All bags will be subject to search
  upon arrival and any bag that exceeds the permitted size will result in denied entry.
• Advanced Discount Tickets: Advanced discount tickets are now on sell at Brookshires,
  SuperOne Foods, Spring Markets at state fairoflouisiana.com through Wednesday,
  October 29th

• Safety and Security Policies: The State Fair of Louisiana wants to remind fairgoers that
  there have been many new policies that have been implemented over the last couple of
  years such as the youth minor policy that affects children under the age of 18, clear bag
  policy, and approved items allowed in the fair, just to name few. It’s important that all
