Five parish teams notched victories Tuesday night.
Haughton defeated Mansfield 56-27 at Haughton, Benton rolled past Southwood 56-40 at Benton, Parkway got past Neville 64-59 at Parkway, Plain Dealing defeated Converse 43-31 at Plain Dealing and Providence Classical Academy routed Glenbrook 84-29 at PCA.
Elsewhere, Bossier fell to Red River 58-40 at Red River.
At Haughton, the Lady Bucs extended their winning streak to 13 games on Senior Night.
Kyndal Gladney and Skylar Branch led Haughton (15-5) with 15 points each. Bella Hammond added 12.
The Lady Bucs led 9-7 after the first quarter. Gladney scored seven in the second quarter and Haughton led 25-14 at the half.
Haughton continued to pull away in the third quarter and led 38-19 going into the fourth.
The Lady Bucs play Logansport Thursday at 5 p.m. on the first day of the Benton Lady Tiger Classic in Benton’s auxiliary gym.
Mansfield dropped to 9-8.
At Benton, Bella Wiese led the Lady Tigers (12-8) to their fourth straight victory with 14 points.
Cylah Grigsby added 11 points. She also had five steals and two assists.
Ava Hammond had eight points, eight rebounds and four steals. Kryshna Bostic had eight points and four steals.
Kenya Anderson led Southwood (10-8) with 22 points.
The Lady Tigers got off to a fast start. Wiese made two 3-pointers and scored eight points and Benton led 15-5 after the first quarter.
The Lady Tigers led 25-13 at the half. Wiese sank two more from behind the arc and Bostic made one in the third quarter as Benton extended the lead to 42-24.
Benton plays Richwood Thursday at 6:30 in its tournament.
At Parkway, the Lady Panthers raised their record to 11-6. Neville dropped to 13-6. Parkway visits Mansfield Friday.
At Plain Dealing, Jakayla Douglas scored 22 points to lead the Lady Lions (7-8). Sanaa Lyles added 13.
Douglas scored 14 in the first half to help Plain Dealing build a 22-16 lead. The Lady Lions led 31-26 after three quarters then pulled away in the fourth.
Plain Dealing plays BTW Thursday at 8 in the Benton tournament.
At PCA, Alex Thaxton and Lauren Hillman led the Lady Knights (12-9) with 17 and 16 points, respectively.
Ella Grace Richardson added 12 and Rhodes Mobley 10. Claire Morris and Emily Stephens had eight and seven, respectively. Mobley and Morris made two 3-pointers each.
PCA plays Byrd Friday at 8 on the second day of the Benton tournament.
