The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office gathered with profound sadness yesterday as
deputies and staff attended the funeral services for one of our own, Deputy Tim
Jordan.

Dozens of Bossier Sheriff’s deputies stood in solidarity to honor Tim’s life,
service, and sacrifice, while offering support and condolences to his family during
this extremely difficult time. The loss of Deputy Jordan has left a deep and lasting
impact on our agency.

The outpouring show of support from numerous law enforcement agencies from
across the region who joined us in mourning the loss of Deputy Jordan was
humbling. Their presence served as a powerful reminder of the close bond shared
within the law enforcement community and the respect Tim earned through his
service.

Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington said, “The overwhelming support shown
today from BSO deputies and other law enforcement agencies speaks to the kind of
man Tim was and the respect he earned. We will never forget his dedication, his
character, or the service he gave to this community.”

Deputy Tim Jordan will be remembered not only for his dedication to duty, but for
the kindness, professionalism, and commitment he showed to his fellow deputies
and the citizens he served. As we continue to grieve, the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s
Office remains united in honoring his life and lifting up his family in our prayers.

RIP Deputy Tim Jordan.
