The Providence Classical Academy Lady Knights swept a doubleheader against Booker T. Washington 15-0 and 23-8 Monday at home.
Elsewhere, Benton fell to West Ouachita 4-0 in West Monroe.
At PCA, Harper Milner went 2-for-2 with a triple, double and three RBI in the three-inning first game. Sofia Flowers went 2-for-2 with a home run and double. Sailor Crump had a triple.
Milner didn’t allow a hit. She struck out five and walked three.
Milner went 2-for-2 with a home run, triple and four RBI in the four-inning second game.
Ireland Baker went 2-for-2 with a triple and double. Flowers went 2-for-3. Ainsley Allison had two RBI.
PCA (3-1) visits North Caddo Tuesday. BTW dropped to 2-2.
At West Ouachita, the game was scoreless through five innings. The Lady Chiefs scored four in the bottom of the sixth.
Benton starter Bayleigh Moniz allowed three hits, struck out eight and walked two in five innings. KP Tasby gave up one hit, struck out two and walked none in an inning of relief.
The Lady Tigers had four hits, all singles.
Benton (3-5) hosts D’Arbonne Woods Charter Thursday. West Ouachita improved to 4-3.
