Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1 has issued a boil advisory for a small number of
customers following an 8-inch water main break at 3117 Halls Trail.
The affected area has been isolated and includes approximately 12 service connections on
Halls Trail in the Dogwood Subdivision. Customers in the affected area should boil water
before using it for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, preparing food, or rinsing food.
Water should be brought to a full rolling boil for at least one minute, then allowed to cool
before use. Bottled water may also be used as an alternative.
Water samples are expected to be collected on Monday morning and submitted for
testing. The advisory will remain in effect until testing confirms the water is safe and the
advisory is lifted.
