Motorists are advised that beginning on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, the Southbound right shoulder of US 71 (Barksdale Blvd) under the I-20 Westbound & Eastbound overpasses will be closed due structural repairs on the overpasses.
All work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
This work is expected to last approximately one week.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking or biking near an active work zone.
