BOSSIER CITY – Adam Daniel Horton was born September 10, 1989, and went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2013. He was born in Bossier City, LA and moved to Katy, TX in May of 1996. Adam graduated from Katy High School in 2010.

Being born with Nijmegen Breakage Syndrome, a rare disorder that affected his immune system, did not keep Adam from living a full and active life. Adam played baseball, basketball, and participated in swimming in the Special Olympics. He especially enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was quick to make friends and loved everyone. He was recently employed at The Brookwood Community in Brookshire, TX.

As a result of his condition, he was subjected to countless surgeries during his life. He endured all of these procedures and his numerous illnesses without complaint. The strength, bravery, and positive attitude he exhibited throughout his life were an inspiration to all of the people who were fortunate enough to have known and loved him. He fought courageously until the very end.

He is survived by his mother and father, Susan Fethke of Katy, TX and Danny Horton, Doyline, LA; his sister, Amber Horton, his nephew, Hunter Boan and niece, Harley Boan all of Katy, TX; his sister Danielle Horton of Doyline, LA; his sisters Sarah Fethke and Brittany Fethke of Katy, TX; and his maternal grandparents, Harold and Elaine McLemore of Bossier City, LA.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, July 21th at 1:00pm at Taylortown Reception Hall located at 8568 Barksdale Blvd., Bossier City, LA 71112. A private burial will follow the memorial service.
