Three Bossier Parish teams made the LHSAA state softball playoffs. The Airline Lady Vikings, Parkway Lady Panthers and Benton Lady Tigers will all be on the road for first-round games.
In Class 5A, District 1 runner-up Airline (17-9), the No. 19 seed, visits No. 14 West Monroe (17-9), the fourth-place team in District 2, Monday at 6 p.m. Parkway (12-12), the No. 29 seed, travels to New Orleans Monday to play No. 3 Mt. Carmel (20-3) at 4 p.m.
Parkway finished tied for third in District 1. Mt. Carmel won the District 9 title.
In Class 4A, No. 21 Benton (16-14) visits No. 12 Crowley (24-6) on Saturday at 3 p.m. Benton finished second in its District 1 division to defending state champion and No. 1 seed North DeSoto. Crowley was the runner-up in District 3.
