“All About Roses” Workshop to Equip Home Gardeners with Essential Skills

Bossier City residents and gardening enthusiasts are invited to attend a free workshop focused on growing and caring for roses, scheduled for March 12, 2024, at the NEW Bossier Parish Central Library & History Center. Organized by the LSU AgCenter, the workshop aims to provide valuable insights into rose garden maintenance, covering topics such as pruning, fertilization, mulching, disease management, and insect control.

Led by LSU AgCenter Horticulture Specialist Mark Wilson, the workshop promises to be an informative session for both novice and experienced gardeners alike. Participants will have the opportunity to learn essential techniques and best practices for nurturing healthy and vibrant rose gardens in their own homes.

Registration for the workshop will begin at 5:15 p.m. on March 12, with the session kicking off promptly at 6:00 p.m. and concluding at 7:30 p.m. To secure a spot or obtain more information, interested individuals are encouraged to call or text (318) 237-8350 and provide their contact details along with the name of the workshop.
