Beginning next spring, Allegiant will offer twice weekly non-stop flights to
Nashville International Airport from Shreveport Regional Airport. Flights begin on
Thursday, May 22, 2025, and will operate on Thursdays and Sundays. The seasonal
flights will be available through August 17, 2025. This is the first time in the airport’s
72-year history that non-stop service between Shreveport and Nashville has been
offered.
“We are very excited that Allegiant decided to add direct flights to Nashville,
Tennessee; one of our most requested cities. We are always working to add new
destinations from Shreveport. We are continuing to make improvements to the airport
by adding new restaurant and retail options, modern terminal seating, and additional
vehicle parking. The airport team works hard to provide Ark-La-Tex residents more
reasons to fly Shreveport first,” said Larry Blackwell, Director of Airports for the
Shreveport Airport Authority.
The new non-stop flight is made possible by funding from the Ark-La-Tex
Regional Air Service Alliance (RASA), whose mission is to increase air service at
Shreveport Regional Airport. RASA has previously assisted with securing non-stop
service to Denver, Charlotte, Destin, and Los Angeles.
“RASA is excited to work with Allegiant to make this new non-stop flight happen.
Our goal of adding new routes from Shreveport Regional Airport is not only to benefit
our region, but also to open the door to the people of Tennessee to come experience all
that the Ark-La-Tex has to offer. RASA will continue to explore all options to bring new
routes and add to existing service at every opportunity,” said Tim Wilhite, president of
the RASA board of directors.
Tickets for the new non-stop Nashville flight are on sale now at Allegiant.com.
Fares start at $44.50 one way. Tickets are also on sale now for non-stop flights next
summer to Destin and Orlando, Florida at Allegiant.com.
