Annie Johnson Bond

BOSSIER CITY- A “Celebration of Life” will be 6:30 p.m. Friday, December 13th at Grace Community Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Templeton and Rev. Jerry Hilbun officiating.

Annie was born January 16th, 1967 in Shreveport and departed on November 13th, 2013 in Bossier Parish. After high school she taught gymnastics at Tower Gymnastics touching many lives through coaching. She was retired from Bossier Parish School Board serving 20 years as Evaluation Center Secretary. After retirement she was a caregiver to friends that were at their last stages of life, worked at Encore as event planner, where she was planning the next phase of her life. Annie was a member of the Krewe of Centaur/ Krewe of Highland and helped design/ decorate many different floats, with Mardi Gras her favorite time of year. She loved to cheer the LSU Tigers and attended many games with tailgating friends. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church.

Annie is survived by her two sons Robert and Alex Bond, her sisters Sue Boyne, Nancy and Bill Clark, Beth and Louis Graziadio, and Therese and Paul Kneipp, her brothers Robbie and Rhonda Johnson, Marty and Debb Johnson, Matthew and Madge Johnson, and Timmy and Paula Johnson. Her nieces and nephews include: Adam, Christopher, Zachary, Kevin, Christine, Kim, Robin, Beau, Mendi, Eric, Erica, Amanda, Jody, Gino, Marianna, Jesse, Michael, Rachael, Greg, Charles and many great nieces and nephews. She is remembered and loved by her In-laws, Claudine Bond, Debbie and Steve Opperman, Beckie and Ben Sinor, and nieces and nephews: Britney, Haley, Ryan, Michael. She will be remembered by her many lifetime friends.

Annie will be remembered by her bright blue eyes, her wonderful smile, her boisterous laugh that echoed in the halls and the love she showed to all around her.
