ELM GROVE – The Second Annual Cowboy Christmas will be held, 1-9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19 at Faith Farms Arena. Faith Farms Arena is located at 1145 Highway 527 in Elm Grove, Louisiana.

Cowboy Christmas will include more than 20 arts and crafts vendors, a bounce house, a petting zoo, pony rides, photos with “Cowboy Santa” and live entertainment including a live nativity scene performed on horseback by The Sundance Riders at 5 p.m. and a concert featuring Cheridy Adams and Shane Pons beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults and free for children ages 12 and under. All proceeds from Cowboy Christmas will be used to provide Christmas gifts, as well as Christmas dinner for less fortunate families in the area.

“My husband dresses up as Santa and we load up our vehicle and go door-to-door delivering gifts to these families,” Wilkins said. “We don’t ask for anything in return. We just like helping others in need.”
