Every year we take letters to Santa Claus from local children and make sure they get to the North Pole. Since Good ‘ol Kris Kringle is a subscriber of the Bossier Press-Tribune, we run the submitted letters in our own holiday tradition – “Christmas Greetings.”
Below are the letters that was submitted to the Bossier Press-Tribune via Bossier Parish Schools:
Dear Santa,
Salutations! I know you know who is writing this letter right now, but I thought you should know. It’s your fantasy lover, Mary Clare! Now, I know I’ve tried to be good at school, (although I’m not,) I watch Lizzie, my sister, when my mom tells me to. I help do the laundry, and help pick vedgetables when I’m at Honey’s house. When I’m at Aaden’s house, I sometimes have to watch the kids in the playroom. Now, for Christmas, I really want my cousin, Aaden, to get a scooter. He’ll be delighted, and I want to make it up to him for alwas argueing with him every time I see him. And then, on Christmas, we can go for a ride. (But then you would have to deliver the scooter.) Also, can you send a letter to Mary, (the cousin who lives in Romania,) and say that Mary Clare misses one of favorit cousins. Santa, for Christmas, can you give everyone you visit a Bible and candy cane? Please? Even if they already have Bibles. I want every one to at least know who Jesus Christ is. And Santa, can I please have an Easy Bake Oven and the whole series of Cariline, the Amearican Girl doll? Please and thank you.
