BOSSIER CITY – Graveside services for Barbara Johnson Gamble will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Thomas Patton.The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until service time.
Barbara was born January 20, 1937 in Vivian, Louisiana and entered into rest November 27, 2013 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a member of Cypress Baptist Church and a member of the Board of Directors of Caddo-Bossier Cancer Foundation.
Her daughters Tracy Madden and Debbie Adams, husband Dr. Jack Gamble, and sister Lanell Outz preceded her in death.
She is survived by her grandson Chris Townsend and wife Heather of Dallas, Texas, sisters Georgia Veitch of Minden, Louisiana, Virginia Waters of Temple, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chris Townsend, Ronnie Veitch, Jason Veitch, and Will Gray.
Memorials may be made to Caddo-Bossier Cancer Foundation.
