BENTON – Services for Barbara Lee Jordan, 79, will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, January 30, 2014 in the chapel of Rose-Neath Bossier. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy Patton of Cypress Baptist Church. Committal services will be 3:30 p.m. at Bold Springs Cemetery in Bold Springs, TX, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved Bert. Visitation will be 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA.
Mrs. Jordan was born November 7, 1934 in Houston, TX to Leo and Viola Henckel Harman and died January 27, 2014 in Bossier City, LA. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
Her husband, Elbert “Bert” Jordan; sons, Steve Howard, Elton Jordan and a daughter, Connie Baumel preceded Mrs. Jordan in death.
She is survived by daughters, Terry Shinn and husband Skipper of Benton, LA, Glenda Cruickshank of Richmond, TX, Annette Walding and husband Lester of Onalaska, TX; sister, Carol Minchew and husband Gene of Brazoria, TX and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, nieces and nephews.
