The Bossier Bearkats picked up their fourth win of the season Tuesday night, defeating Ringgold 17-9 at Ringgold.
Elsewhere, Parkway fell to West Ouachita 5-0 at Parkway and Benton dropped a 15-12 decision to Byrd after a late rally came up short.
At Ringgold, Brent Wroblewski went 3-for-4 to lead Bossier at the plate. Winning pitcher Devon Smith had two hits as did Chase Bounds. Jon-Mikal Robertson went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI.
Bossier (4-1) defeated Mansfield 14-10 Monday night at home. Robertson went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI. Wroblewski had a triple and walked four times. Kevin McCuthen, who got the win, struck out eight.
At Parkway Tuesday, the Panthers got an solid pitching performance from starter Eric Williams, who allowed just two hits and struck out seven in six innings while walking only two. He allowed four runs, but only two were earned.
The Panthers (2-3) managed just three hits off West Ouachita’s Luke Honeycutt and Huck Huckaby. Matthew McKee, Zach Hire and Eric Brown all had singles.
At Benton, the Tigers cut an eight-run Byrd lead to three in the sixth but could get no closer.
Benton’s Peyton Long had a big night, going 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Sam Simmons had three hits and two RBI.
Garrett Hable had two hits, including a double. Tanner Craft went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
The Tigers (2-4) hurt themselves with seven errors.
