The Bossier Bearkats fell to the Lakeview Gators 73-55 in the Paul Millsap Classic Saturday night at LSUS.
Lakeview (4-1) was a Class 2A quarterfinalist last season.

The Bossier and Airline girls will face off before the boys game. Airline is 1-1 and Bossier is 0-3.
There is only one game tonight.
The Benton Lady Tigers, who are off to a 3-0 start, host the West Monroe Lady Rebels (6-1) at 6.
In other boys and girls games Tuesday, Parkway visits Green Oaks and Louisiana New Tech at Plain Dealing hosts Logansport.
It will be the season opener for the Parkway boys, who will be missing several key players from the football team including 2012-13 All-Parish first-team selection Brodrick Jefferson.
The young Parkway girls team is off to an 0-3 start, but the Lady Panthers lost two games in the BTW Thanksgiving Classic by a combined eight points last week.
The New Tech boys and girls have both gotten off to good starts.
The girls are 4-1 with four straight victories. The boys are 3-1.
There are two tournaments in the parish this week, the annual Haughton Jack Clayton Invitational and the Bossier Lady ’Kats Invitational.
Both get under way Wednesday and run through Saturday.
